Sunday Stitching Update & My 2012 Stitching Goals

Happy Sunday all...

I know its been almost a month since my last update, but with Christmas, life got quite busy.... here is my update of The Owl and the Pussycat, its coming along nicely I think...

I have a few stitching goal for 2012:

To begin my first Heaven and Earth Designs piece... I have a good number of them on my wishlist, but believe that this is the one I am going to start with. It's called 'Three Kings' by Bridget Tavener

I also want to complete between 12-15 (maybe a few more) Christmas ornaments, for Christmas 2012. I want to begin as soon as I can so I will be ready.

Not sure what I else I will stitch this year, I have many items on my wish list at 123stitch.com and may pick something from there as well.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Sunday Stitching Update

I got more done on The Owl and the Pussycat this week, I am quite pleased with my progress.

It was a good week this week, work has been busy, which is unexpected for this time of year. But I don't mind, keeps me busy.

I have also made the decison to start going to church. I was baptized as a baby, but the family stopped going when I was still in Sunday School. Last weekend, my best friend had her daughter baptized and it happened to be at the same church that I was married in. I loved the service and I just adore the minister so I decided to start going.

I went this morning and had a lovely time. Hubby doesn't come with me, and I'm okay with that. This is my time to spend for myself, and I think everyone needs that now and then.

Sunday Stitching Update

Hello all...

Welcome to my cross stitch & digital scrapbooking blog... this is my first post, and I hope to do regular updates when I complete a scrapbook page and on Sunday's for a cross stitching update...

Here is my current WIP, its called 'The Owl and the Pussycat' designed by Gail Bussi from the September 2011 issue of Cross-Stitch & Needlework. I'm working on it for a co-worker who is due with her first baby at the end of February 2012.

Have a great week!
